Spring Petal Backpack


Beachpicnic, shopping. This lovely bag is very versatile
Thanks to Susan Gater on Ravelry for the free pattern. I have made the large version of the pattern with the colors of spring and also in a smaller version in purple white & turquoise.


It is easy to make once you understand that the petals are not on top of each other.
I did two bottoms and placed an old CD between the to make the bottom sturdy.

The larger backpack can be lined as it will stretch some

FSC to fit around the phone snugly. Attach and work in rounds.SC adding details - long SC every other stitch. (See photo)

Make a small rectangle and sew to front to hold headphones.

Crochet button attach to earphone pocket.

Love this! Never have to search for headphones.
